lyrics
You can feel it in the air
Hear it in the breeze
Now it's time to ask yourself
Who you think you are
The path of the righteous can wind on forever
The way of the damned is the road to instant pleasure
No need to fear
What you cannot see
Step into my circle
Forget the past with me
I live for the fire and the path that's less worn
You can find me in the burning tree
Where the wicked mind is born
The golden staircase is spiraling down
The windows are there, but you can't see through
The cross and the hook, you know it screams to you
Live for the fire is all you can do

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo

Allow me to copy Pagan Altar's third album title to describe not only III:Pentecost but the whole discography of Wytch Hazel so far: well, yes, it's Magical and Mythical!!! A must-have for the lovers of 70's hard sound revival. BoneWalker
